Spelling Bee Cast and Crew Chief Assignments

THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
CASTING PLAN
Once again, many thanks to all of you for an excellent audition.  As you know the show has a relatively small cast so we couldn’t find onstage spots for all -  if you don’t see your name please know that we want you to be involved somehow in the show – so we hope you’ll consider participating in one of the production crews that interest you!  And don’t forget the one-acts – an info meeting will be scheduled very soon.
If any changes to the cast are needed, we’ll notify you personally if an onstage spot for you develops – and that does happen sometimes!  Everyone who auditioned can be considered as a candidate to move into any open position that develops.
There are two cast teams – the CAPYBARA team will have three shows including one matinee.  The CREPESCULE team will also have three shows including one matinee.   As of right now I expect the Cabybara team to be assigned the Cappies show, and the Crepescule team to  play the closing night show.  Other assignments will be determined very soon so you can make plans for your family and friends to see your performance.
Please consult the hard copy of this notice on the Theatre Call Board in the Music Hall - INITIAL by your name to accept your role assignment.
If for any reason you will not accept your role, please inform me ASAP in person.  Any personnel change will require us to do some shuffling, and it would make sense to do that right away.
Crew chief assignments are on the basis of interviews and in-person contact you’ve already made with the directing staff.  If you haven’t completed the process yet, then you might not see your name – please see me ASAP for details.
The  mandatory  readthrough is Monday, September 18.  The call time is right after school – that is a change from the earlier schedule.  All cast members and crew chiefs should come, as should standbys.
All casting and work assignments are based on the completion of all paperwork – online application, contract and resume – by FRIDAY, September 22.  All CONFLICTS should be entered into VSM by that time as well.
